How do cannabinoids work with mammal’s bodies?2020-05-19T16:43:47-05:00

Every Body Has an Endocannabinoid System

The Endocannabinoid System is an intricate network of receptors throughout the human body that connect to vital physiological processes like appetite, pain, memory, sleep, the immune system, and inflammation.

Cannabinoids are distributed throughout this system and attach to the receptors where they are needed most. They then send regulating signals to tissues and the brain.

The body maintains a balance of cannabinoids and only uses them when they’re needed. Some health challenges and conditions can deplete cannabinoids as they are used by the body to bring them back to health. Multi-Cannabionid oil helps to re-nourish the body’s cannabinoids.

Is Hemp Extract Legal?2019-07-24T19:38:18-05:00

Yes – The Agricultural Improvement Act of 2018 (aka Farm Bill) was signed into to law on December 20, 2018. It permanently removes hemp and hemp derived products from the Controlled Substances Act. Hemp is now properly classified as an agricultural crop. As such, Pebble is legally sold and shipped to all 50 states. We also ship international where laws permit.

Is Hemp Extract Safe?2019-07-02T15:38:13-05:00

Hemp extract itself is very safe. But it is crucial to choose products that are:

  • Grown in the US
  • Pesticide-free
  • Solvent-free
  • Non-GMO
  • 3rd-party lab verified.

Each and every Pebble product meets that criteria – in fact, we have two rounds of 3rd party lab testing!

Are Hemp Products Safe For Pets?2019-07-02T15:44:37-05:00

Yes! Humans and our furry family members both have cannabinoid receptors in the brain, which are part of the endocannabinoid system throughout our bodies.

In mammals, this system works to control inflammation, pain, motor control, skin condition, appetite, mood, aggression, anxiety, neurological disorders and others.

CBD hemp oil is “non-psychoactive” in all mammals, safe and helps the endocannabinoid system to function more effectively, elevating wellness and quality of life.

Pebble is currently creating a proprietary line of pet products. In the meantime, you can use our infused oil in smaller servings, mixed with food. Always consult your veterinarian prior to giving your pet any new products.

What does Solvent-Free mean?2019-09-23T19:12:58-05:00
A “solvent-free” product is also known as as a “distillate.” The terms refer to the process of distilling to refine a hemp/cannabis concentrate by separating the desired cannabis molecules from any possible contaminants.
The distillation process first includes extracting plant material with a “solvent,” such as Ethanol, CO2, butane or even water in some processes. Next, the extracted material is vaporized through a heating-evaporation process. The resulting vapor travels through a cooling system whereby the contents separate and consolidate into separate containers.
This process can be repeated multiple times and at various temperatures to ensure that the end product contains no solvents, pesticides or residues of any kind while keeping the terpenes and cannabinoids intact in the end product.
Can You Take Too Much Hemp Oil?2019-07-02T16:00:48-05:00

Hemp oil is non-toxic, and no known fatal overdoses have ever been reported. That said, too much of any good thing will make your tummy hurt.

The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (2011) concluded, ‘no signs of toxicity or serious side effects have been observed following chronic administration of hemp oil to healthy volunteers (Cunha et al., Pharmacology 21:127- 185, 1980), even in large acute doses of 700 mg/day (Consroe et al., Pharmacol, Biochem, Behav. 40:701-708, 1991).’
